Khazar University is offering international scholarship program is open for all foreign students to pursue bachelor, master and PhD Programs.
Khazar university is a private educational institution for undergraduate, graduate and professional studies promoting advanced study and research, educational policy and development in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Pursuant to its policy and service commitments, the University is proud to announce the Khazar University International Scholarship Program for 2016-2017 (further referred to as KUISP) extended to nationals of all countries without any limitation.
Standardized English language test scores are not compulsory. However, the applicants with standardized scores (valid TOEFL/IELTS scores: expired scores are not accepted) will have competitive advantage.
Eligibility:
The Scholarship is open to applicants of bachelor, master and PhD programs.
The successful applicants should meet the following criteria:
Good academic performance records of the previous education stage (high school, bachelor or master programs).
Good English language skills. Standardized English language test scores are not compulsory. However, the applicants with standardized scores (valid TOEFL/IELTS scores: expired scores are not accepted) will have competitive advantage. Holders of International Bachelor degree certificates or diplomas from a high school with English as a major medium of instruction do not need a language skill justification document.
Motivated to study at Khazar University.
Good communication skills and sociability.
Scholarship Value:
The scholarship covers the cost of the tuition fee for one academic year, but does not cover living, travel or other expenses.

Khazar University Application for Admission Form for the selected level of study (Bachelor, Master or PhD) along with all required documents listed in the application form.

FINANCE ASSISTANT (intro)


Contract type: Full time. six months, renewable.

• Organize the payment of daily workers, suppliers, and contractors in accordance with the procedures and deadlines. 

• Apply and make apply the payment schedule.

• Is in relation with the bank and the exchange company to organize the payment of salary advances, salaries, opening of bank accounts, and all other issue related to bank payment. 

• Organize the payment of medical bills and operational advances in accordance with the procedure. Record the operational advances in the appropriate book.

• Maintain and update cashbook movements for the cash box, record all IN and OUT transactions, ensure that cashbox balances always reflect the actual amount of money kept in the cashboxes and, investigate any discrepancy.

• Record all the accountings piece in the software SAGA on a regular basis.

• Ensure the monthly accountancy closure and ensure a monthly accounts report in accordance with MSF procedures, checking individual entries and preparing the necessary administrative documents (originals) as a basis for justification and explanation of payments and receipts made. 

• Apply and makes apply the threshold chart : make sure to receive the appropriate validation document before paying.

• Reconciling bank statement balances and highlighting any cheques not cashed during the month. 
 
• Update the follow up of the relevant expenditures ( as daily worker, referrals, staff health, the restaurant…)

• Assist the Administrator Manager in the preparation of the cash request, cash order, budget…

• Follow and prepare the contract for the consultants, suppliers, etc.

• Is in relation with coordination in Sanaa to take advice and support regarding SAGA and monthly closure.

• Following up and archiving the mission’s administration : Updating the administration archives in the soft and hard copy in an organized and logical fashion (, legal documents, invoices, etc.)

• Computer skills ( Word, Excel) and good faculty to learn new software;

• Strong work ethic, commitment to humanitarian objectives and interest in health care;

• High motivation, creative, organized, flexibility, quick learning and team working;

• Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.

• Willing to perform overtimes and additional work on Friday and Saturday when the project needs it.

The HRD is responsible for ensuring appropriate and sustainable organizational structure for MSIY, in order to achieve its mission, goals and objectives. As custodians of the values and culture of the organization, the HRD team is responsible for the employment policies, procedures, practices and systems that govern the employee life cycle.

The Role
The HRD Manager plays a key role in delivering an excellent client focused HR service to the support office in Yemen to enables the organization’s mission to be achieved. HRD manager will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to proactively identify areas where HRD can add value and lead solutions in support of meeting strategic goals. In this generalist role HRD manager will implement HR initiatives and advice, guide and support team members and managers, providing high level people management and development support.

Responsibilities:
•    Lead the Human Resource Development Department partnering with other colleagues and key senior managers to deliver an HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the organization
•    Play a key role in the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives
•    Translate business requirements into effective HR practices
•    Deliver people solutions aligned to business objectives
•    Work at an operational level with multiple stakeholders
•    Deal with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues
•    Influence management and leadership around the people agenda and issues
•    Act as a single point of the contact for team members and managers 
•    Build a strong business relationship with key stakeholders
•    Actively identify gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
•    Act as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
•    Design succession plans for key talents and key job positions
•    Develop other HR team members

Experience:
•    Significant experience, at the business partner level, of supporting HR needs
•    Experience of leading HR best practice in the local environment
•    Experience of reviewing and benchmarking compensation and benefits packages
•    Up to date knowledge of immigration rules and legislation of the country.
•    Proven experience in working with senior managers and providing strategic HR advice
•    Demonstrable experience of project and change management skills
•    Strong Business Acumen
•    Self- managed and able to priorities
•    Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

Qualifications and Training (essential/desirable)
•    Educated to degree standard or equivalent, preferably with HR related degree.
•    Strong Arabic and English language communication skills both spoken and written.
