About Delta
Delta Engineering is a leading national drilling & Workover contractor providing oilfield services for onshore oil and gas exploration, development and production, and specializing in Drilling and Work over Services, Coiled Tubing, Wire line (Slickline) Services. Delta Engineering also has a fully qualified Machine Shop in Sana’a by which Delta provides equipment services such as Repair, Maintenance, Replacement (or Spare Part Manufacturing), Machining, Custom Manufacturing, Welding and Fabrication Services.
Delta Engineering are looking for two HSE Supervisors to supervise and ensure implementing of company’s HSE system at field working site according to OHSAS 18001.
Job Title : HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) Supervisor
Place of work: the field site
Number of Vacancies: 2
Job Role:
HS Supervisor shall be responsible to administers job safety program; audits and inspects job site to detect and correct safety hazards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of Health Safety and Environmental for all work at site
- Eliminate and control conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using safety standards
- Best management practices and injury avoidance/elimination technique

- Performs daily inspections of Delta QHSE adherence to OHSAS 18001 requirements and Delta's HSE Policy
- Check the safe working conditions of lifting equipment. Ensure proper lifting plan and operation is performed.
- Monitor our company's activities at our work areas.
- Provides weekly report to the Project Manager and H&S Manager of all activities/events.
- Performs or controls weekly safety inspections of all Delta’s work, personnel, equipment and storage areas Processes and updates all paperwork for weekly submission to
Delta QHSE Department
- Ensure all work permits are completed as standards prior to commencing a task.
- Document unsafe acts/conditions and corrective actions taken.
- Performs various duties and activities related to fire prevention, firefighting and chemicals handling.
- Responds to all emergencies and renders assistance as an Emergency Team member to fire, chemical spill or other incidents
- Perform other job related tasks that will be assigned by HSE Manager.
Employment Type: Full Time ( One month on, then one off)
Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
- Recognized technical expert in a related HSE field.
- Thorough understanding of regulations and the regulatory process.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and/or field location personnel where required.
Proffered Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associates degree and 3-4 years' experience.
- Associate level HSE Certification preferred.
Experience:
- 3 years minimum relevant working experience in safety and HSE management systems a highly regulated industry.
- HSE Audit experience is advantage
- Safety training qualification e.g. NEBOSH is plus
- Past experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred
