About Delta
Delta Engineering is a leading national drilling & Workover contractor providing oilfield services for onshore oil and gas exploration, development and production, and specializing in Drilling and Work over Services, Coiled Tubing, Wire line (Slickline) Services. Delta Engineering also has a fully qualified Machine Shop in Sana’a by which Delta provides equipment services such as Repair, Maintenance, Replacement (or Spare Part Manufacturing), Machining, Custom Manufacturing, Welding and Fabrication Services.
Delta Engineering are looking for a QHSE Manager (an experienced QHSE Professional) to oversee all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment across their workshop and oilfield services but working from the Sana'a Head Office.

JOB ROLE
- To develop, manage and maintain the Company’s QHSE Systems and Policies.
- To provide functional support to all Projects Quality and HSE personnel employed across Delta Group, covering personnel at Head office as well as sites and coordinating with HSE officers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements QHSE managements systems, processes, and procedures that improve business operations in accordance with ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Communicates information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness.
- Supports the organization on QHSE matters as the primary point of contact.
- Provides quality management, HSE, and project management training to employees.
- Participates in tender and project teams as the QHSE Expert.
- Reviews and assesses requests for pre-qualification or tender, and compiles required documentation in preparation for project deliverables.
- Participates in project teams as the QHSE expert.
- Prepares and maintains required HSE records and reports.
- Develops and facilitates project HSE risk assessments (e.g. HAZID, ENVID, safety cases).
- Coordinates and executes HSE inspections, and internal, sub-contractor, and third party audits.
- Conducts investigations and analyses of, and reports findings to management on:
1. Non-conformity reports and root cause analysis
2. Client Satisfaction Program data
3. Incidents, near misses, and damages
4. Customer complaints 5. Key performance indicators (KPI)
- Develops and monitors HSE performance, progress, preventive and corrective action plans.
Employment Type Full Time
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree engineering, science or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 3 years minimum relevant working experience in quality, safety, environmental engineering, HSE management systems, project management in a highly regulated industry.
- Quality & HSE Audit experience
- Safety training qualification e.g. NEBOSH is plus
- Preferably past experience in the oil & gas industry
Skills
- Solid record of leadership, initiative talking, collaboration & innovation.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good English language (Ability to read, speak, and write)
- Computer literacy.
