Position Title Operations Coordinator
Department / Location Operations - Production - Balhaf
Minimum Requirements Qualifications: - B. Sc. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience. Experience: - 12 years’ experience in oil & gas or petrochemical plant operation. Job Specific Skills: - Knowledge of and experience with LNG Plant commissioning, start up and shutdown.
Descriptions - Develop, review and update Production specific procedures. - Equipment’s integrity inspection preparation and follow-up. - Preparation and integration of shutdown documents in the overall shutdown plans. Involves close liaison with various sections in Production, Maintenance, Construction and Safety to assess their requirements to prepare short and long-term integrated plans for shutdown works. - Participates in the preparation of detailed risk assessments. - Prepare/Initiate the process isolation and spading plans respective for the shutdown activities as well as for the daily routine maintenance activities. - Coordinate with Day superintendent & shift superintendent on the work specified in the work permits to ensure correct equipment preparation to handover for maintenance. - Assist and guide start-up and shutdown of the production trains. - Plans, coordinates and supervises the production/Maintenance activities of the ROP / STP Units, Controls the operation to ensure continuous safe and efficient operation of the plant. - Raises, reviews, and discusses work orders with relevant departments. - Defines consumables and material requirements for safe and uninterrupted operation of LNG plant. Coordinates and controls the budget for the same. - Liaises with Maintenance & Inspection to provide the preliminary Production input to maintenance Planning. - Coordinates with all departments as well as suppliers (via C&P) for jobs and services related to Production activities. - Ensures that waste management procedure and another environment procedure are implemented and improved. - Creates Purchase Requests for all production requirements. - Manages the maintenance work orders through SAP system and coordinates with maintenance department for timely work completion.
