Position Title Head of Safety Engineering & Methods

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in an Engineering or Science Discipline. Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and / or other high hazard industry in a technical capacity.
Descriptions
- Updates, develops and spreads safety rules and standards in the Company with regard to operational and safety engineering - Ensures that the YLNG HSE Management System includes relevant procedures and rules related to Safety Engineering. - Leads technical safety assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessments and SIL Assessments. - Provides safety engineering support to Engineering and Construction team and to Technical Support team to assess plant modifications and follow up of actions. - Works closely with the Technical Support team and is involved in process reviews, performance tests and other process-related studies. - Follows internal and external safety audits and follow up of action plans. - Ensures implementation of safety engineering requirements across all disciplines. - Responsible to maintain and update the Safety Concept of the YLNG installations. - Responsible to coordinate and follow up of the Technological Risk Assessment process within YLNG. - Significant contributor to the identification and selection of Safety Critical Elements and respective Performance Standards within YLNG. - Ensures that Safety Engineering documentation is maintained within the Company Document Management System. - Provide Quality Control review of documents produced by HSE Corporate team. - Technical Secretary and Member of the Process Safety Committee.
