Background:
Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) is the first Microfinance bank in Yemen and MENA region. started its operations in January, 2009. It is a non-profit organization, seeking to offer sustainable financial services to limited and low income households in Yemen, particularly owners of micro and small enterprises through the provision of inclusive financial services (credit, savings, insurance, remittances, money exchange an cash disbursements).
Al-Amal Microfinance Bank seeks qualified candidates for :
Title of Position : Research & Development Manager.
Report to : CEO .
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field.
• At least five year's experience in the same field .
• Ability to lead working teams.
• Ability to use computer and its different applications.
• Ability to learn and beneficiate from others experiences.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Learn about other local and international MFIs experiences
• Develop new financial products meeting the demands of the targeted groups
• Make new products' regulations and instructions
• Measure clients' satisfaction of the offered products, determine their weaknesses and suggest the suitable solutions to overcome these weaknesses.
• Revise applied manuals, policies and procedures and make suggestions to refine them.
• Revise the outcomes of the MIS system and suggest the required reports to show the results of bank activity.
• Coordinate with international organizations and entities working in development sector and make suitable suggestions to enhance relationships with them.
